Brandeis University - Bachelor in Arts, English Literature , CUNY Queens College - Masters, Library and Information Science

Multiple subjects have always intrigued me, which is why after I received a BA in English Literature, Judaic Studies, and European Cultural Studies from Brandeis University in 2007, I went on to get a master's degree in Library and Information Science from Queens College. I finished with a focus on Youth and Children's Services in 2010. I've tutored for more than ten years and have taught all age groups in subjects such as Math, English, prep for standardized tests, and composition. I attribute my knowledge base of best practices in research and my knack for offering students a vast selection of research tools to my Library Science degree. I have found that a great way to assist students in the long run is to give them the tools to find info and resources in addition to just teaching what is on the syllabus. This way they may go on and grow, continuing their learning process. When I'm not teaching, you can bet I'm cooking, at the theater, reading, adventuring, or enjoying the museums here in New York City.
