Experience
I am an adjunct professor of history with Oakland Community College. I've tutored a number of secondary level students in history and other subjects. I became a tutor for the same reason I decided to become an instructor. I love my field and I enjoy teaching, sharing the information. Further, assisting students is something I enjoy. Most students face obstacles when learning, The better students seek that assistance and I enjoy working with them. I can help.

Hobbies
I enjoy reading history, politics, religion, current events, baseball and football. Yes, I enjoy most major sports, but my favorite teams are the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. I'm originally from Boston. In fact, I'm told that I have an accent. I also enjoy working around my house; I am doing vinyl siding this winter/spring. The carpets are next, I think. I do car repair as well, something I learned in a previous career.
